NRC-CISTI announces new public-private
partnership with Infotrieve, Inc.

Ontario — The National Research Council Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical
Information (NRC-CISTI) is pleased to announce that
Infotrieve, Inc., a global leader in information centre technology
development and document delivery for more than 20 years, will be collaborating
with NRC-CISTI to provide information delivery and library services to the Canadian
and International research communities. NRC-CISTI is reinventing the way it provides
access to published research information so that it can better serve both Canadian
and global research and innovation communities.
Through this partnership, Infotrieve will provide a comprehensive
set of services including its award-winning content sourcing and management system,
Content SCM®, and Infotrieve’s industry-leading
document delivery service, which provides access to more than 40 million citations
in their proprietary collection. The addition of the world renowned NRC-CISTI Canadian
national science library collection with more than 50,000 serial titles, 800,000
books and conference proceedings, plus 2 million technical reports and indexed journals
in many languages will provide the research and innovation community with fast,
easy access to a vast collection of scientific, technical, and medical (STM) content.
