As NRC-CISTI advised
you in late December, beginning Thursday, January 14 Infotrieve will begin to source
and deliver documents for all of CISTI’s Australian and New Zealand clients. To
ensure order processing from CISTI’s catalogue continues without interruption, some
minor adjustments will be required.
For clients submitting
orders to CISTI via the World Wide Web (OpenURL), when pressing the ‘Order Document’ button you
will be redirected to Infotrieve to finalize your order. This will require
you to authenticate with your Infotrieve credentials to complete the order process.
For those clients already registered with Infotrieve, please use your existing
Infotrieve credentials. For those not registered with Infotrieve, you will
be prompted to register prior to completing the order, or you may contact Infotrieve
Australia to establish an account prior to January 14.
For those clients using
ISO-ILL or VDX ordering methods,
you should submit your orders directly to Infotrieve. Alternately, you may
submit your orders through the LADD gateway which will automatically redirect your
CISTI orders to Infotrieve. All orders available from the CISTI collection
will be filled by Infotrieve. For those clients who already have an Infotrieve
account, this is as simple as eliminating CISTI’s location from your ROTA or routing
table and ensuring Infotrieve is in that ROTA or routing table. Your system
administrators should be instructed to make these changes prior to January 14.
For those organizations without an Infotrieve account, you must contact Infotrieve
Australia at the telephone number or email address below to establish an account
prior to January 14.
